For Immediate Release
Rhinelander, WI - Fishing Hot Spots, Inc., the nations premier publisher of "where-to" fishing information presented in map and book form, is proud to announce the launch of their new "Handy-View" map line. Smaller, more compact and easier to use than standard FHS maps, the Handy-View maps were created to respond to the wants and needs of today's casual angler and boater. These maps are smaller versions of existing FHS products, delivering only the most essential information at an attractive MSRP of $4.95.
The "Handy-View" maps are the result of two years of market research and feedback from consumers and retailers alike. "We developed this map line after listening to what the average angler and boater really wants and needs in terms of cartographic and value-added information," said Steve Swierczynski, Product Manager for Fishing Hot Spots, Inc. Only after two years of marketing input and a live market test were we and our customers satisfied with the product.
The "Handy-View" maps are put together to provide a quick, easy and compact reference for anyone venturing out on premier waters throughout the country. The compact size, just under 12 X 18 inches, has proven to be quite effective in, not only delivering essential information, but also in enhancing the usability of the product. The new format of these maps, combined with leveraging the latest in printing technology, has resulted in a high quality product that remains very flexible in terms updating and modifying.
This year, 2006, FHS is introducing 21 new titles in the "Handy-View" line. Combined with the 18 titles that were developed during our market test, the total number of "Handy-View" titles currently available is 39, with more coming in the near future. Currently, "Handy-View" maps are available for premier waters in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, Texas, and South Carolina.
"The response to these maps has been staggering, with excitement from everyone, retailers and consumers both, who have seen and used these maps," says Dawn Richter, Sales Manager for Fishing Hot Spots, Inc. "We look forward to further expanding this line of maps and meeting the informational needs of outdoor enthusiasts nationwide," she went on to say.
